Everybody knows about the Indian epic “Mahabharata.” The vast kingdom of Dharmaputra was taken by Duryodhana his brother, by way of cheating in a game of dice.


In the battlefield Kurukshetra, the fight was between the kauravas and the Pandavas [both cousin brothers] to relinquish the throne. In that battle field Drona, the mighty warrior and the teacher of both the Kauravas and the Pandavas in the art of war fare, was on the side of Kauravas. Sri Krishna, Pandavas guide and war counselor, thought that the mighty Dhrona was more than a match for the Pandavas and all their forces. So the only hope for pandavas was in making Drona lay down his arms by some means or the other.


Drona has a son by name Aswathama, also an expert in the art war fighting on the side of the Kauravas. Sri Krtishna know that the father loved his son very much. He thought that if Drona could be made to believe that his son was killed in battle, he would throw down his arms in grief and the victory can be easily attained. But, Drona knows Aswathama was an invincible warrior and he will not believe if anybody tells that he was killed except Yudhistra.


Krishna knowing the fact went to Yudhistra and told him, that in the interest of his side, he must take his words otherwise the victory will be to other side. Sri Krishna told Yudhistra that the Pandavas should raise a cry that Aswathama was killed. While Bhima, Arjuna and others consented to do so what Kirshna asked them to, Yudhistra would not. His passion for truth would not allow him to do such a dishonorable act. But Krishna persuaded him by saying that everything was fair in this war because Kauravas were not honest people.


There was an elephant, by name Aswathama on the kauravas side. Bhima killed it and cried that Aswathama was slain. Aswathama, the warrior was fighting in another place of the battle field and Drona unable to see his son, feared the worst and lost all his balance. Drona with full of grief and with falling tears in his eyes cried “O Krishna, is my son really slain? I cannot believe the news of my brave son could be slain and so I will not believe the news of his demise unless I hear it from Yudhistra. Am sure, he will speak the truth only.

Sri Krishna brought Yudhistra before Drona and made him says “Aswathama is slain, and then add inaudibly the words “the elephant”, to ease his conscience. With great reluctance, Yudhistra told the words. Even he uttered the words; Sri Krishna blew his conch so that Drona heard only the words “Aswathama is slain.” On hearing these words Drona fell in a swoon and was killed.


Even though Yudhistra thinking about the elephant and told ‘Aswathama is slain’ the sinful action of Yudhistra bore it fruit not only eventually but also immediately. His chariot that did not touch the ground till then on virtue of truth speaking immediately sank to the earth.
It is a fact that Kauravas were not honest people and by cheating they have taken the Dharmaputra’s kingdom. But it is a lesson for everybody that even the enemy is the worst type, we must talk only the truth. But for the Yudhistras grieving Lord Krishna says that “I will liberate you from all sins, do not grave.”

“New Delhi: After a virtual religious discourse on the sacredness of Ram Sethu for two days and the apprehensions about a deep wound that would be inflicted on 100 crore Hindus if it was dredged, the Supreme Court on Thursday implored the government to explore the possibility of an indepth study of the Sethu by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). This appeared to be in consonance with the demands of the petitioners who had said that the government was going ahead with the project without determining through an ASI study whether Ram Sethu — believed to be built by Lord Ram as a causeway to land in Lanka to rescue Sita from the clutches of demon Ravana — could classify as an ancient monument. A three-judge Bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justices R V Raveendran, before adjourning hearing of the matter till July 22, asked the government to explore the possibility of an ASI study of Ram Sethu.” The petitioners, who have challenged the validity of the present alignment of the Sethusamudram Project that proposes dredging a channel having a width of 300 m on Rama Sethu to shorten the shipping distance between the western and eastern ports, have another reason to be happy. The court asked senior advocate Fali S Nariman to impress upon the Centre to examine the viability of an alternative alignment. This suggestion came from the Bench after Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy pointed out the fallacies in the decision of the Centre to go ahead with the project ostensibly under pressure from ally DMK. With the court restraining any dredging till further orders, this long adjournment along with the suggestions for an in-depth ASI study and consideration of an alternative alignment would be sure to delay the project, despite the government filing an application in the apex court seeking vacation of the interim stay order.

In her latest petition, Nalini, 37, has said that since the state government had already consulted the central government while commuting her death sentence to a life term in April 2000, there was no scope for further consultations between the governments to decide on her release. Justice Jyothimani has now posted the matter to June 10 2008 for further hearing. Arrested on June 14, 1991, Nalini was sentenced to death along with 25 others on January 28, 1998. On May 11, 1999, the Supreme Court confirmed the death sentences of four, including Nalini and her husband Murugan. Based on her mercy petition, which was supported by a state cabinet recommendation and an appeal by Sonia Gandhi on humanitarian grounds, the then Tamil Nadu Governor had commuted the death sentence to life imprisonment on April 25, 2000.

I bring to you the latest info on the new patches scheduled for 2008...These are certainly better than the boring extended classes of the previous patch (LOL ...Ninjas sounded cool but really they were a total waste of time and not to mention all the excitement and anticipation) and i really do hope this patch is better (and as you read on i assure you they will have you more excited than the Thanatos and Ifrit patches).

Firstly the patch will delve deeper into the legend of Satan Morroc, the lord of all demon and all that crap. The story will continue with a new portal to a new world opening up in the city of Morroc ... This will lead you to an unseen world filled with monsters of unconquerable might and BLAH BLAH....

It will also include further developments of the picture perfect city of Lighthalzen and it's illegal research on demi-"Human"s like us... Also some of the other included updates are the improvements to the PVP,siege,and also the improvements to guardian stats etc...

But this is the part that I've been waiting to inform you about......have you ever wondered why ragnarok is starting to become a bit boring these days.....Let me tell you why..... it's because we see those pesky LKs and SinXs over and over again....Same moves EDP...Bowling Bash .....Well change has come .....Tada ,3rd class chars.....and look at the level cap 150 LOL.....This is definitely what many have been waiting for......But i'm sorry i don't have any reliable info on the chars........But i do know a few names .....
