[He who serves God, serves a good master]
[He who serves God, serves a good master]

Certain principles haven prescribed in Hindu Vedic rules, that how people should worship the deities in Hindu Temple. Even though every Hindu people are aware of this, I am writing this for those who do not aware of these customs.
What we should not do in Hindu Temples.
1. While walking in the Temple Sanctum Sanctorum, we should not walk swiftly.
2. We should not utter unnecessary talk and words within the temple.
3. We should not use tobacco, betel net and combing hair and do other unwanted things.
4. We should not eat and sleep in the temple.
5. We should not use hat and shoes in the temple
6. We should not worship in darkness.
7. We should walk between Nandhi [Bull] and Sivalingam.
8. We should show our backside to God.
9. We should not go to temple without taking bath.
10. We should not catch hold of temple properties.
While in the temple, we must always chant the name of God and mantras only.
“ Om Sivaya Namaha”
“Om Namasivaya “
