How Ramar-Sethu was constructed..?

The present atheist leaders in Tamil Nadu are asking How Rama has constructed the Ramar-Sethu..? Whether he is a engineer..? For those people the Ramayana author, the Great poet Valmiki himself replied in his slokas. He was also having very excellent geography knowledge of South India and has elaborated in his version Ramayana about the Ramar-Sethu Bridge.
To decide where to make the sethu [Bridge], Rama climbed up the Mahendragiri hill, which is the tallest hill [1654 m] ideal to watch the coast, though 60 K.M. away from the sea coast [Kanyakumari]. Rama, Nala, Sugreeva and others realized that the shortest width was near the present Rameswaram. On the commands of Rama. Lakhs of Vanaras has gone to forests. Mighty vanaras broke hill tops, broke trees and brought to seashore [Valmiki Ramayana Slokas 54-55]
Valmiki mentioned 15 types of trees used in the construction on work. Seal, aswakarna, dhar, bhans, kutj, arjun, thal, thilak, thinish, bel and chitran. [Slokas 57] Uprooted some trees and they brought like flag staff, while some broken trees were also brought [Slokas 58]
Valmiki described very correctly the name of all trees that are seen in South India. Mighty vanaras broke hill tops and brought elephant sized boulders to sea shore [Sloka-60] They through stones on the sea, which lifted sea water to the sky and then drowned. [Sloka-62]
While some vanaras throw boulders in orderly way, some others maintained measurements by holding one yojana long thread [Sloka-62] Vanaras engaged themselves busy. Some vanaras employed yardsticks [like engineers] while some others arranging the materials in orderly way. Sethu was simultaneously made at different points. Big trees tied together in making Sethu [sloka-64-65]
Suvel hill was given to end point on the Srilanka side. For accurate measurements, the location of the hill is needed. That is how Nala has made 100 yojanas length and ten yojana width Sethu [Sloka-76] Sethu Built by Nala looked beautiful and impressive like a shadow [Sloka-74]. I request the political leaders to go through the Valmiki Ramayana and ask our engineers, to find out whether the Ramar-Sethu [Bridge] was constructed according to rules and regulations. At present even small bridges were not constructed by the Government itself and several cases are pending against them. Ramar-Sethu was constructed during Vedic period ie. before million years and it is the duty of every Indian to safe guard the Historic monument.
